Okanagan Christian School (OCS) has chosen to use FAST – Financial Aid for School Tuition – by Independent School Management (ISM) to process your financial aid application. This is a 3rd party processing partnership. ISM will provide standardized and impartial processing in a confidential setting. Once they have worked one-on-one with each applicant they will send a report to us for final consideration and processing. While this system is new for us and you, we believe that it will be greatly preferred.
The Application Process

- Apply using FAST between now and Monday July 15, 2017 (click here)*

Be available for a followup interview with one or more members of the Admissions Committee, AND
- finalize a financial agreement that works for your family and the school
- Complete the process by providing post-dated cheques, credit card # or any other arrangements as per the financial agreement between you and the Admissions Committee
We are continually working to improve our assistance options. Our desire is to ensure that every student and family who wants to be at our school can have that opportunity. This works best when families work hard, with us to find and implement solutions. Remember, if you want to be a part of of our school family — then failure is not an option, together we will find away AND it will be worth the effort.
Note:
1) there is a $43 USD application fee that is paid directly to ISM FAST,
2) be sure to read all the instructions before you start,
3) before any financial assistance is awarded your application must be 100% complete, and
*Important Deadline: Monday July 16, 2018
For returning families you MUST complete and mail your application by July 16, 2018. For new families that enroll after the deadline or have not had enough notice, you must still complete the FAST application asap, but we will work with you individually to ensure no one misses out.
Once your application is complete you will still need to physically mail in your tax documents for verification. Pleases mail your documents no later than August 15, 2018—this will allow for sufficient shipping and processing time. Please do not procrastinate—AND special mailing envelopes (which are optional) can be picked up from the school.
